Heating (Hive thermostat)
The thermostat is located just outside the bathroom in the corridor.

Turning on
Press the centre button, then turn the dial to your desired temperature (17–20°C is comfortable).

Quick heat — Boost
Press the Boost button for 30, 60, or 90 minutes of heat without changing the schedule.

Adjusting temperature
Simply turn the dial. The heating adjusts automatically.

Turning off
Turn the dial down to 7°C to effectively turn off heating while protecting the property from cold.
ℹ️ Please do not reset or reprogram the thermostat. Avoid setting above 20°C — it won't heat faster, just uses more energy. If it doesn't respond immediately, give it a few minutes.
Parking

One car only — please use this space only.
🏔️ Extra vehicles can be parked in a local car park, or for free about 15 minutes' walk away on the cliff road — visible from the lounge window. Need directions? Just get in touch.
Before you leave
The property is professionally cleaned after your stay — no deep clean needed from you. We just ask that you:
- Wash and put away any dishes, utensils, and cookware used
- Take out the bins
- Leave the home in a generally tidy condition
Reporting damage
If anything is accidentally damaged during your stay, please let us know before you leave. We appreciate honesty — accidents happen! Please be aware that any damage identified following the post-stay clean will be assessed and charged separately to the host. Reporting it promptly helps us resolve things quickly and fairly for everyone.
